Substance Abuse Prevention
- Substance Abuse Prevention Course for Organizations
This unique course has been specifically tailored for offshore companies who’s employees need continuing education and training regarding drug and alcohol use and abuse. Participants in this course learn responsible decision making skills, particularly when on offshore leave. Active engagement and education through this course promotes lifestyle changes that benefit both the company and the individual.
- 10 Hour Substance Abuse Education Course
This program educates participants about the various types of alcohol and drug use and abuse. Through individual and group facilitation, participants will identify and explore the different categories of use, abuse, dependence and addiction. Participants will work together to form bonds and build wisdom to make positive and healthy lifestyle choices.
Partial Hospitalization Program
Keys Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is designed to provide an individualized, coordinated, intensive, comprehensive and multidisciplinary program for patients who suffer from mental illness. The PHP program was carefully designed to assist patients in becoming more stable and transitioning to the community gracefully and with dignity.
- Admission Criteria
A psychiatrist or physician trained in the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric illness may refer patients; patients admitted to the Keys PHP program typically do not require 24 hour daily care provided by an intensive inpatient program. The patient must be under the care of a physician or psychiatrist who is knowledgeable about the patient and certifies the need for partial hospitalization, or a legal guardian must provide written consent for admission. The patient must have an adequate support system to maintain themselves outside of the PHP program, and the PHP program must be necessary to prevent inpatient hospitalization and there must be evidence of failure or inability to benefit from a less-intensive outpatient treatment program.
- Discharge Criteria
Clinical assessment of the individual’s progress is the basis for determining discharge. Patients may be discharged from the Keys’ PHP program by either escalating to an inpatient level of care or graduating to a less intensive level of care.
Intensive Outpatient Program
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) was created to assist individuals who are in the early stages of recovery and could benefit from additional support to bridge their transition from addiction into sobriety. The IOP integrates three weekly three-hour group sessions with two individual and two family therapeutic sessions to provide the best integrated treatment. Participants in the IOP program are generally self-referred, referred by a family member, probation or parole office, an attorney’s office or a member of the clergy.
Outpatient Clinical Program
The Outpatient Clinical Program (OCP) has been carefully designed as a step-down program to assist individuals who have completed our Intensive Outpatient Program and need additional support and structure to facilitate successful care. The OCP program includes one hour group sessions three times per week, two individual and two family therapeutic sessions and random drug screening. This program can be beneficial as a first point of entry for treatment.
